STAMFORD BRIDGE AND LATE GOALS

Mata

It has been a very intense week, with the Capital One Cup match on Wednesday and the Premier League on Saturday. And the next few weeks will be the same. We’ve got two busy months ahead!

Let’s start with the Capital One Cup against United… It was intense to say the least! Despite trailing three times we managed to tie the game at the final whistle, and then we were better than them in the extra-time scoring twice. So now we are in the next round, and with a good taste after being defeated in the previous weekend…

Bad news for me: after such a huge effort during 120 minutes I was forced to rest a few days with a hamstring injury… That’s why I missed our game in Wales vs Swansea. Moses scored first for us but them Pablo Hernández got a late equalizer, leaving us with one point instead of three. Pablo is a good friend of mine, yet this time I didn’t celebrate his goal…
