This is the first time that I’m writing to you from Spain, from Madrid. And this is because I’m meeting my team mates from the Spanish national team early on Monday morning, and then we will travel to Qatar to play an international friendly match against Uruguay.

Now it’s time to ‘change the chip’ and enjoy every moment with the national team. However, those three points we lost in Newcastle are still in my head…

We did what was most difficult: a comeback after their early goal, but later on we didn’t manage to score and in the end we lost 3-2, so we went back to London with no points. This is an aspect we worry about and something we must do better: in the last few games we were leading the score but we ended up with a draw or a defeat.
