A SHORT BREAK BEFORE CONFEDERATIONS CUP

Mata

Since my last post I’ve rested a few days with no training sessions or matches to play, time that I’ve spent with my family, so no complaints. It really feels good after such a long season and it helps me to recharge my batteries prior to the Confederations Cup. In the last few days I spent time with my relatives and friends, enjoyed Asturias and played other sports, like paddle tennis, but don’t ask me about the score… :-@ It’s been a long time since my last game… :-/.

In La Liga though there was no time to relax this weekend… It was the last week of the calendar and, for many teams, the most important one. On Saturday I followed all the games, especially Sevilla vs Valencia, hoping that my former team mates would make it to the Champions League, but they couldn’t due to four goals by my friend Negredo. Valencia will have to play the Europa League and I hope they can succeed us and become the next champions of the tournament. I send all my support and a big hug to all from here…
